Our governors set the strategic direction of the school. They are volunteers who dedicate their time to help make a positive impact on the Hotham community. We are lucky to have a board of committed governors with a range of skills.

Committees and Responsibilities
Our Governors meet as a full board five times a year. There are three sub-groups or committees which also meet termly.
Children, Families and Community Committee meets to discuss pupils and their attainment, progress and wellbeing. It also is responsible for safeguarding, SEND, attendance and behaviour. The Chair of this committee is Roberta Gamba.
Planning and Resources meets to discuss the school finances, premises, staffing. It is responsible for overseeing the school budget and setting this each year. The Chair of this committee is James Ma.
Strategy Group is comprised of the Chair, Vice-Chair, Chairs of the two committees and the Headteacher. It meets to discuss the school’s strategic direction and longer-term projects or decisions. The Chair of this group is Jane Mitchell.
